Jason Himick Jason is the owner of J. Himick Landscape Architecture. Jason has been working as a professional landscape architect since 1998 and has been licensed since 2002. Since November 2005, Jason has been working as a part time landscape architect with Boulder County's Parks & Open Space department in Boulder Colorado. He has spent the past four summers working as a professional raft guide in the Pacific Northwest and Northern California. When not pursuing his passion at work, Jason stays busy outdoors. Depending on the season, days off may be spent paddling, rock or ice climbing, backcountry skiing, mountaineering, or simply hiking. Kate Shorrock Kate assists with the operation of J. Himick Landscape Architecture. Kate is a champion of the environment with a degree in Environmental and Resource Economics. She has diverse work and life experiences, from managing a rafting operation to volunteering with animal shelters. She has been working and volunteering for national non-profit environmental organizations for the past three years. Kate also enjoys many outdoor activities. Much of her spare time is spent paddling, climbing, and hiking. |
